DTU Aqua has access to the research vessel DANA and three smaller boats.

Section for Marine Services
Section for Marine Services maintains DTU Aqua’s electronic instruments and equipment used for scientific work at the institute. The equipment includes hydrographic and acoustic instruments as well as video equipment for underwater recording. Further the section develops interfaces for the equipment.
Section for Marine Services equips the research vessel Dana with instruments and measuring devices for research expeditions. The staff of the section is on board Dana during expeditions to service and maintain the equipment and is engaged in the daily operation of the equipment.
In addition the section manages and maintains the equipment from the Galethea III Expedition as well as mechanical gear for fishing.
