Network for North Atlantic Marine Science and Education
The Network for North Atlantic Marine Science and Education is an initiative funded by Nordplus/Nordic Council of Ministers, aimed at expanding collaboration within marine science in the North Atlantic and the Arctic and developing new joint education initiatives – based on the strengths, competencies, facilities and future needs of the partner institutions.
The focus is on both BSc and MSc education within marine science, including
- oceanography
- fisheries science
- aquaculture.
The aim is to allow students in the involved study programs easy access to relevant courses at the partner institutions.
What does the network offer you?
-
Exchange grants for intensive courses, allowing easy access to advanced courses of a few weeks duration.
- Exchange between the individual programs in the network, so you can have an entire semester with relevant courses in your field of interest.
- Joint supervision of student projects (such as the master thesis) to make use of the best researchers and facilities in the network.
- An opportunity to network with students from other North Atlantic educational institutions.
