The MSc Eng in Aquatic Science and Technology focuses on aquaculture, fisheries, oceanography and management of aquatic resources. The programme offers a common basis of biology, mathematics, physics and management and three specialisations.
DTU Aqua has its own PhD School with 35-40 PhD students enrolled. The students are engaged within a wide range of project themes. They present their projects in the publication "PhD Projects at DTU Aqua".

DTU Aqua heads the Centre for Ocean Life - a VKR Centre of Excellence. The Centre brings together Danish marine research across disciplines and universities to develop a fundamental understanding and predictive capability of marine ecosystems.
