This webinar will feature two expert talks and a general discussion on the use of environmental enrichment to promote fish welfare in aquaculture.
The 2nd webinar of the Nordic Network on Fish Welfare takes place on 26 May 2026, 09:30–12:30 CEST, on Microsoft Teams.
The title of the webinar is 'Environmental enrichment and fish welfare'. It will feature two expert talks and a general discussion on the use of environmental enrichment to promote fish welfare in aquaculture. The webinar is open to researchers, professionals, and stakeholders interested in aquatic animal welfare.
Environmental enrichment includes strategies designed to create environmental diversity and better experiences for animals living in captivity, e.g., by providing shelters, substrates, water currents, or specific light conditions.
