The ICES Annual Science Conference 2024 is held from 9 to 12 September in Gateshead, UK. The conference consists of keynote lectures, 18 scientific sessions and a number of network sessions and poster sessions as well as excursions and a social programme.

ICES is an intergovernmental marine science organization workning for societal needs for impartial evidence on the state and sustainable use of our seas and oceans. The organization is a network of nearly 6000 scientists from over 700 marine institutes in 20 member countries and beyond.

DTU Aqua represents Denmark in the ICES Council and participates in the ICES Advisory Committee and Science Committee and in approximately 70 expert groups.
